hair stuff

let's talk about hair a bit.

these are currently my hair fixers.

i am not very happy with all of them, but they are doing their job quite fine.

i'm trying morrocan oil for the first time and i honestly don't know how will i live without it anymore. among every oil and serum i tried, this one is by far the best.

kerastase milk is ok, but i don't quite know what it does to the hair. but i'm using it anyways.

at last, if you torture your hair with straightening or curling iron like me, any heat protector is better than nothing. these days i'm using this taft thing. p.s.: never apply it on dry hair like it says. "no stickiness" my ass.

except that, i'm planning to get some vitamins for hair growth. if you have any suggestions, hit me.

so here we are.

a fresh new year has started.

i am pretty sure you guys had a wild time welcoming it.

i danced into it, literally. (by the old saying, will i be dancing through the whole year then?)

when it comes to resolutions and recollections of the past year, i usually ignore them because of the fear of not living enough.

but not 2011. it gave me high up's, low down's, happy tears, sad tears. made me see a lot, made me feel like a grown up soul.

travels.

one of my strongest life engine. for this period in my life, i'm the kind of person who works to live.and living means experiencing, seein, feeling. this year i've felt happy in Malta, i danced in Belgrade, i felt the first sun in Ibiza...

...i was reminded how incredibly important for happiness are my girls to me in Bosna...

...i shared ecstatic moments driven by music...

...i danced...

...i loved...

...and blogging was never more interesting than this year.

i met interesting people, creative people, people who i want to stay in my life...

so, only thing i could wish for 2012 is that this whirlwind of life continues in all of it's colors. even more brighter than the last one maybe, just with a bit more shoes to walk through it.

i wish you all the best babes, happy new start.

U centru je grada i jako je lijep.

Sadrži sve što jednu curku može zalijepiti za police na par sati. Od špangice i neonskog laka za nokte do Božićnih ukrasa.

Ooo da.

K tome, bit će suradnji s hrvatskim dizajnerima, što nas vjerojatno sve veseli.

Jučer smo Ana, Ljupka i ja imale priliku dobro proučiti te police i izabrati jako kul stvarčice. Rezultati našeg velikog truda i žrtve :) stižu uskoro.

well hello there ladies.

in my universe, all work and absolutely no play these days. but all is good.

since that lack of time is killing me, i haven't got time for some interesting projects lately so i was really looking forward to last weekend when Levi's organised an event to help ladies find their "just right" jeans.

i don't know about you, but i kind of don't like jeans that much. i don't feel comfortable in them and i only have one pair. yes, that's right. one.

therefore, i was thrilled when i got to the store and nice people started to measure every inch of my hips and belly (ok, not very thrilled about that:)), because that lead to finding a perfect pair of jeans that fit my body.

they where comfy and stylish. all the girls did a little photoshoot with their jeans, taken by our famous photographer Mare Milin. i can't wait to see the results. in the meantime, Levi's is waiting for you to find your perfect pair, of course.

i am terrified by this dark thing that sleeps in me.

Here is the result of our little photoshoot at Topbrands Showroom. It's out on Cromoda and it's pretty cool. I picked out this gorgeous studded jacket everybody fell in love with, and a dress. You can't see it very well, but the bottom of a dress is made of leather.

I know what some of you will say, that everybody could pick out a dress and a jacket. Well of course. And of course everybody would pick out something that is close to their personal style. So did I.

I was thinking.

I love fashion, I would spend a lot of time thinking about it and enjoying it with or without a blog. Of course, I still can't get over a feeling that personal style blogs are a bit ego trippin'. Why the hell do we need to show our everyday outfits, a part of our everyday lives? There will always be somebody who does it better, has cooler clothes, plenty more of "it" shoes... So why do we do that? Do I think I'm special? Well, I don't. The thing is, if I want to see perfect bodies, perfect hairs and make up, a bunch of designer clothes, I would look into magazines or religiously follow Kate Moss pages or every Kardashian out there. But that doesn't interest me. They earn money for looking good.

It's that rush. When I find a piece of clothing, piece of jewelry, squeeze it in my tight budget, well of course I want to share it with somebody who will understand. And maybe find inspiration in it. Just like I find it, on the pages of girls like myself. Check how a girl from Helsinki styled the same blazer I have? Quite cool. I can't tread every single friend of mine with the cross ring I just got because they won't get the fuss about it.

So having a blog, sharing a passion for this rather insignificant thing, is making me happy. Sometimes when I see how this thing works in other countries, how girls actually live from blogging, I start to believe I'm only wasting my time and nothing more. Then I start to think about every great thing I've seen, every great person I've met through blogging. I even consider some of them my friends. All of them - well educated, smart and down to earth people. Not a single sight of superficial world of fashion. Just people who are connected by their passion. It makes it all worth it.

So, what I'm trying to say with this rant... Maybe it is pointless, maybe I will be sorry for it, maybe it will be worth it at the end. But fuck it, at least I did it. Just like that trouble with modern art - you think you could scribble that too? Yeah, but you didn't.

Ok now, rant is over. I don't know why I had the urge to write this. I didn't study a bit. But I'm still in love with the camera. I want to show every pointless photo I have, because I love every effect that thing has.

today i got the rush for cutting jeans. and one denim jacket. this one right here. it became sleeveless. i like it more now. despite the fact that it makes my arms look chubby. hope i won't regret the cutting in two days. but i usually do.

there are a few new dudes i'd like you to meet. first, this little bag of mine, which is divine (oh look, a rhyme :)) and made by a loveliest little pair of hands of our Guerilla Girl. second dude is this dress you can't quite see. it has fringes on the sides and it is quite tight. so forget eating while wearing. but we fell in love at first sight. rationality wasn't an option. aaaand, tananana! boys and girls, third dude i'd like you to meet is my new camera! it's an olympus pen and it is pretty damn cool.

now the rant is over, some unfinished business. i remembered today that i got a blog award some time ago, from our eternal dreamer and the most romantic girl. thank you Grofica Plevna :)

Some time ago I got a little present. A Vichy present. Made me very happy because Vichy and I are having a love affair since my first beauty escapades. Every single product I used was just right. I'm a sucker for natural water stuff and lightweight textures. Write that on your product declaration and you bought me :) Anyway, now when summer is getting close to it's end (damn it hurts saying it out loud!), I can officially say that these sun protection Vichy Capital Soleil products were my good mates during our beach adventures.

Besides them, these are some stuff I can but don't want to live without.

i kind of like how some things become so big among blog or tumblr fashion, but in real world the are just freaky to most people. like cross rings or lita shoes. i can't remember how many people asked me if i was in a cult or a true jesus fan while i was wearing cross ring. the same thing with litas. not a single person "out there" liked them but blog girls drool at a sight of litas. myself included. these garments are like the sign of recognition for a secret club or something. i see a girl on the street wearing those pieces (never happened) and instantly think - oh, you're one of us/them. and give a girl my friendly smile.

anyway, i spent ridiculous amount of time on internet yesterday. sick sick sick. but at least i've collected inspiration that will luckily last me couple of weeks (read: i won't get an urge to buy clothes cos i'm sick of all my clothes). ok, maybe just one ear cuff and i'm settled.

So here are my new favorite products I talked about in previous post. From now on, the royalties in my make up bag. They have also been used as my make up on Chanel Make up experience. I can seriously write an ode to them, that is how much I love them. Serum is for extra dry skin and hydratation. You just need a tiny spot to cover your face and it smells divine. Foundation is extremely light, perfect for the summer, just like this light pink blush. I definitely recommend :)

I'm a gal with a tiniest make up bag, fo sho.

Give me a bit of my gentle foundation, mascara and black eyliner, and I'm perfectly happy. That being said, I was very nervous about Chanel Beauty makeover I was invited to. Of course, I was expecting all of the best make up artists, but hey, we are all creatures of habit. And I was scared to let go of my black eyeliner. God knows I love that thingie.

It turned out, I had a great time. My make up lady was lovely and I'm already trying on a few of her tricks and tips (hello brown eyeliner! :)) Not to mention, I have a few of new favorite products and I adore them. I'll show them in next post. Oh, and don't mind my outfit. I was rushing to an all day dance performance so I had to go with the simplest thing. xxx

Chanel Makeup Studio opened it's pretty doors on Wednesday and from now on we can all have a Chanel experience whenever we feel like it.

So if you are in the town center with all of the fuss and the noise and traffic, just head on to Mesnička 1. You'll step into elegant chic space, a little Chanel make up wonderland. Finest make up artists will take good care of you and you will be instantly rejuvenated. Believe me.

hi again.

i am pretty sure you all love festivals and especially festival fashion. and gosh, we finally have them here too. all over the country. and all over the summer. now we just need pretty clothes. and money. :)

one of the coolest festivals is Terraneo. not just because this summer they have crystal castles (!!!), la roux and the national. nooo. they bring together music, summer and ecology.

so if you are near Šibenik, or not, come! we'll dance barefoot and drink cranberry vodka and forget about everything.

in the meantime, i'm planning what to pack...

Finally, after week of work, sleep and absolutely no play, I am sipping my second cup of coffee with soothing voices of Billie and Louis in the background, checking out backlog and planing all the things I've been putting off.

So it's my turn to announce this week highlight - opening of Chanel Makeup Studio in Zagreb.

Right in the town center, ladies will now get a unique space for personalized experience and make up tips from the make up artists and experts.

The usual range of make up products will be available, as well as the latest Chanel creations by Peter Philips.

Also, ladies will get a chance to explore all of the make up collections through different themes and animations - Lip & Nail bar (29th June till 30th August), Eyes bar (30th August till 4th October), Cheek and Powder bar (4th October till 15th November).

the other thing i love are harem pants. i'm happy that they are back on track and i can wear them outside my dance studio. i found these on sale at ny. imagine my happiness :)

And also, you will meet a man behind it all. His name is Viktor Skeleta and he says he is fascinated with nature.

This is just a tiny bit of his collection. I really love big red chunky ring and silver bracelet. Pretty good statement jewelry, if you ask me.

Zasad je to putem facebook grupe, u koju i vi možete staviti svoju odjeću na prodaju, naravno, u album pod svojim imenom :) Odjeća je ili nešto sitno nošena ili nikada, ne odgovara broj i slično.
